BUILDING ENERGY
INDEPENDENCE
Windular Research and Technologies was founded on a basic concept. Provide a power solution to a market sector where new and innovative energy solutions are in demand. The question has been how to provide substantial alternative energy options to telecom tower owners, operators and carriers, while using the existing tower assets as a benefit.
In remote locations, the Windularsystem provides an effective solution to reduce or eliminate the necessity for costly diesel generators. In regions where grid-tied power outages are a common occurrence, the Windularsystem can provides an energy with reliability and security. In all instances, the Windularsystem can compliment the requirement of grid connected power sites.
The state-of-the-art design of Windular's hybrid system is the adaptability to the tower's unused vertical real estate as a primary energy platform.
Windular's team has extensive experience from a variety of professional backgrounds including telecommunications, renewable energy, finance, marketing and manufacturing.

WINDULAR'S 10 KW TURBINE INVENTOR
Elliott Bayly
Windular is proud of the fact that its 10 KW wind turbine is designed with some very unique and powerful features. The turbine’s design is credited to the late Mr. Elliott Bayly who was a true visionary and pioneer in the small wind industry. As a boy, Elliott was fascinated by the 32-volt generator used to electrify his grandfather’s cabin at Sunshine Lake. As a result, he developed a life-long interest in wind-generated electricity, and in 1972 he moved to Oak Creek, Colorado, where he created the world’s first wind-powered radio station. Elliott grew up in Duluth, where he graduated from East High School. He received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from M.I.T., a master’s degree from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. In 1968 he joined the faculty of Northwestern University, where he taught for four years. We know Elliott would be proud that his legacy continues in Windular’s technology worldwide.
